Measure pots with their handles
The useful height of a drawer and its interior width must correspond to the pieces you want to store. Include lids and handles when measuring pots or dishes, and note how you usually place them. The front may seem wide and not describe the volume that remains after deducting guides, sides and elements that are part of the chosen system.
Test removal of large pieces
Check how each container is taken and what route you need outside the furniture. If you stack with others, watch how much you have to move to reach them. Custom furniture can study divisions and heights with those objects, without reserving deep drawers solely because of the appearance they form in the exterior composition of the kitchen.
Relate the drawer to the available step
A complete extraction can match the door of an appliance or narrow the circulation. In small kitchen it is interesting to represent that situation during a real task. The proposal should compare capacity and access with the loading conditions of the system, so that the intended storage is usable within the final layout and not only within the unit.
